Curriculum vitae:

I was a Police Officer for almost 18 years before working more recently within the elderly residential care sector in a Learning and Development and Compliance role. 

As a police officer I investigated criminal allegations, worked within different communities and supported victims.  I went on to train and develop Police Officers, Staff, Police Community Support Officers and Special Constables.  Within the care sector I have experience of delivering training in Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and assessing the care and mobility needs of the elderly.

I have been awarded a Criminal Justice Award for improving the safety of others and for the reduction of crime and a Police Commendation for attempting to save a life in difficult circumstances.
