Therapist, supervisor and group work lead, Acts Fast. October 2022 – present
• Assessing client’s suitability for a group work environment and designating clients into groups
• Leading the facilitation of the group
• Writing summaries of the group work to report back to the funders of the project
• Working with parents whose children have disclosed sexual abuse
• Working with family members whose loved ones have been arrested for the downloading of indecent images
• Conducting assessments with new clients coming into the service and designating them to counselling staff
• Providing supervision to counsellors within the service
• Devising parent guides relating to talking to their children about sexual abuse and trauma
• Devising and delivering trauma training to new members of staff along with professionals within BCP on sexual violence awareness and trauma
Private practice February 2021 – present
I have a small but thriving practice located in Ferndown, where I work with adults and children from the age of ten years old.
Having qualified as a supervisor in July 2024, I regularly supervise both counsellors and staff who work for the NHS and the local food bank.
